Jobs With Justice - Organizing and Collective Bargaining Rights - JwJ has worked on thousands of       union organizing, bargaining, and first contract campaigns. Since 2000, JwJ has helped more than 70,000       workers organize unions at 160 workplaces. That track record demonstrates the strength of the JwJ model       of permanent coalitions, where labor, religious, student, and other community allies commit to work       together to support a campaign for as long as it takes, upholding our core principles of solidarity, creative       action, and strategic power analysis.

The Right to Organize, Freedom and the Middle Class Squeeze - This testimony was given before
the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions by Lawrence Mishel - President of
the Economic Policy Institute - on March 27, 2007.

Here's a quick visual summary of what Working America is facing.

American Rights at Work - Has a page on Unionbusting - The linked fact sheet is a must read  for
     anyone considering organizing their workplace.

So who are these "union busters"? Here's a small sampling (there are many more) - check out some of the services, claims and fees they are quoting to employers. Know what you could be up against.

Industrial Relations Consultants - Notice how they proudly display some of their results here.

Labor Relations Institute - They'll guarantee a win AGAINST a union vote in a NLRB election.

Adams, Nash, Haskell & Sheridan - Their website claims labor costs increase an average of 32.4% with
a union and they offer to stop it for an average cost of $300-$600 per employee. John Sheridan was a guest
on the March 30, 2007 4th Street Forum broadcast titled "Do Labor Unions Matter Anymore?" Check
the 4th Street Forum site for information on obtaining Podcasts. DVDs can be ordered by calling
414-297-7540 and may be available through your local library. Mr. Sheridan "talks a good talk". This program
   is definitely worth viewing.
